Great vintage and antique shop In this UNESCO site near the cruise port. The owner spent time with us, showing us unique items including Lillehammer Olympic pins, shot glasses, frames, and more and more Lots of items packed in so take your time to view everything. Ask the owner for help. He is extremely helpful. If you are looking for souvenirs, take home a unique vintage item instead of a keychain
Like the other reviews have said - this is a hoarders den. You may ask for a price but either it's way too high or, in my case, he just took the item out of my hand and said its very expensive, without naming a price. But you can get a front row seat into what a hoarders den looks like up close. Just don't expect to buy anything.
The owner of this store was the most rude and arrogant man I've ever met, and the antithesis of a decent salesperson. He kicked everyone out of the store 20+ minutes before closing because he was supposed to "be somewhere two minutes ago" (his problem). A woman kindly says "no problem" as she begins to leave the store. To which the owner combatively says, "actually it's a big problem" (again, his - she was just being polite after being forced out early). I gave him the benefit of the doubt, thinking maybe he's experiencing a serious emergency of some kind, so I try to be polite as well and say a simple "thank you" as I make my way past him towards the door. He angrily responds, "thanks for not buying anything," which is obviously an extremely rude thing to say to a customer. Mind you, this "store" is quite literally filled to the brim with hoarders junk. Plus, the whole point of shopping in this type of antique store is maybe you'll find something to purchase, maybe you won't. It was one the most absurd experiences I've had that left me feeling rattled and confused. Please don't shop here - this man brings nothing but negativity and anger into the world.
Unfortunately this place just isn’t set up for people to actually shop. Massive piles of items with barely enough room to walk through. No price tags if you even felt brave enough to pick anything up. Could there be cool things in here? It’s certainly possible. But if you are claustrophobic, carrying anything with you, overweight, have mobility issues of any kind, just forget it. And words cannot even stress enough how kids should never be in this store. Best of luck to the owner, not sure how this store stays open.
I feel terribly sorry for the owners children when they inherit this warehouse of junk. I wanted to enjoy it, but the owner was so nasty and rude I just couldn't. Why have a "store" if you don't want customers. No prices on any of the "antiques" either. What a waste of 6 minutes
